Shanghai Day 1

took a super high speed train or whatever its called (dong che in chinese) to Shanghai. Left in the afternoon cuz the reception told me the train has many slots and not to worry. but when i reached the station and asked for tix for the super high speed train at the couter in the building, that guy told me dont have. so i thought its out, and he told me must take the other fast train (its different , lower class), i had no choice, cuz its the main counter. so i bought it, about 25rmb.
when im out, i saw another counter in the street, its offical as well, so i just tried, and guess what they have the tix! fucked up. its 2 hours earilier sumore and much more comfy, so i bout it. 30 rmb. and its reaaaallllly advanced and comfortable. no regrets even tho i paid total of 55.

My room in shanghai is awesome. i mean AWESOME. its called koala international youth hostel. Its really meant for families so it does not have dorms. the rooms are huge! comes with a fridge, electric stove and microwave! wow! i love the bed.

my best room so far

Anyways, i went the bund and east nanjing street 1st for a walk. its late so i cant get much photos. the view of pudong from the bund was not bad, but thats only for the first 5 mins, gets bored after a while. East nanjing street was great tho', the old french architecture and sometimes hybird of french and chinese was amazing. its not just the archi, its the history and sheer grandeur of the life back then, at least for the europeans.

The blot of white on the lef is a boat with a huge led media space moving along the river.
The blot of white on the right is another huge led media space on a tall building. awesome.

not much else to see so i headed for Xin tian di for dinner. xin tian di is nice. very expat, but very nice atmosphere. honestly tho, singapore's has many nicer areas. mebbe i should see it in the day time to decide.
