Hang Zhou Day 3

Woke like 6.30am. couldn't sleep the past nite, last i check the time it was 3.30am. damn sad. bed was hard, i dun dare move too much for fear of disturbing the occupant in the bed below. the bites i got from kunming are still there.

anyways, made my way to Lin Yin Si (Lin Yin Temple), the most power temple in south china. It happens that today is the Mi le Fo's (Laughing buddha) birthday, that explains the crowd. the statues in there are gigantic. and all the Luo Hans (Arhats) omg, nice! I went really early so there's minimal tourists. it was nice despite the rain. there were stone carvings around the mountain opp the temple. In face of the Buddha itself (enormous) u can't help feeling small, puny and useless.

The laughing Buddha

On the way out, the rain got heavy. the tourists increased to the point i had to squeeze thru sometimes. I'm soaked to the bones, bag was soaked, lonely planet in my bag was soaked, im cold, i cant take pics cuz raining and my camera is almost soaked too. and its these times i feel really sad and lonely and terrible. everyone around were in groups and happy blah blah, i just cant help feeling alone in the world. self inflicted pain. lol.

the umbrellas. the street is covered with them. if im short enough, i'll prolly be sheltered everywhere.
