Tok a flight from changdu, its an evening flight, and when i reached, its pitch black. luckily i've arranged for a car to fetch me. My lodging is called Mama Naxi's guesthoust. very nice homely place. its old skool chinese building with a courtyard. its late, not much to do, went to the main couryard for dinner and went to bed.
Next day i got up real early to see the place before the crowd comes. Lijiang is a very very pretty place. the little rivers that runs throght the towna nd the little streams that the locals still use today, they simply give the town a very interesting look and a nolstalgic feeling.
So i just walked and i got lost. again. its a habit. but good thing is i came acrodd marlboro! just when i was running out. i bought all the shop has, which is like 5 packs. can last me 5 days. yay, im set. anyway, like i said i got lost, walk for a better part of the day including some sights up the hill and some parks. the pictures below will say more. at night i went for an old Naxi music performance, with origial music and original instruments. these were used since the old dynasties, so its really ancient music in its truest form. it was breathtaking to say the least.
