Kunming

reached after a 5 hr ride as promised. the coach was huge. omg the best bus ride i have in china so far. its like the Grassland bus to malaysia, spacious shite. had snickers for lunch yet again. anyways, reach kunming in thje afternoon, checked in to the hump hostel and got my room. no toilet in it but at least a room for myself. cant stand snores. no choice.

Went for a walk, nuthin eventful, tho i saw a currypuff shop with "Singapore" written all over it. i doubt is real. bought a curry chicken curry puff nonetheless (freaking starving), and to admit, its good. mebbe im starving. anyway, i saw a Nikon shop where i tried my luck if they can clean my camera for me, they cant. but lent me the blower thing and some lens paper. didnt work. that shit/dust/stain/scratch nonscense shite is still there. gotta live with it.

Ate at Ajisen! i cant help pampering myself once in a while. their 3rd level chilli spice level noodle not works. feels like no chilli at all. sad. Went back to hostel, considering whether to go Zhang jia jie and Fenghuang, gave up after awhile cuz its too ex. either i fly to Changsha(hunan's capital, 2 hrs flight @ 1200RMB) and fly again to Zhangjiajie (1 hr 500RMB) or i take a 22hr fucking train ride to Changsha. either way not works for me. too ex and troublesome. plus credit card not works, they expect me to go down and photocopy my passport and credit card and fax to them. too risky.

Met 3 nice ladies at the hostel, hung around chatted for a couple of hours. 1 a Malaysian from Singapore, 1 from Shanghai, and another from Shangrila. The Shangri-la one runs a place call noah's cafe . Damn shd have met her earilier when i was in Shangrila. anyway, i got lotsa of information i need, thanks ladies! And i'm probably gonna vist her again for a trip into tibet as well as a stay with nomads.

time to turn in, still considering my next step, probably fly to hangzhou straight then to suzhou.
